Ms Lenise Hollis - Principal
My career in Education spans 30 years, completing a double degree in Early Childhood / Special Education in 1993 through the University of Newcastle. I commenced my Masters Degree and have held the position of lecturer for international students.
I have been Principal of Fennell Bay Bay since October 2018. My career has been diverse and my specialisation is early intervention, special education, behaviour, learning and support. I have extensive leadership experience in consultancy roles across networks of schools and my first principalship was in 2015.
Children enrich the world, so as an educator I am driven by the desire to support children to achieve their potential and for them to believe they are entitled to a positive future. The public education system forms the foundation of Australian society and schools are the custodians of the future of our country
I am passionate about building teaching capacity to ensure wellbeing and equity through quality personalised education. Students thrive when they know adults in the school care about them, have high expectations for their education and provide the support essential for their success.
